I agree with both of you! So bad. I remember my "hardcore" roommate in college getting all sanctimonious about how it was the only movie he ever saw that made him cry. And now my daughter absolutely loves it. :(
When the last one came out, my brother bugged the hell outta me to see it!!! I kept telling him that I didn't to -- I already knew how it ends. LOL The best movie on this is "A Night to Remember" (b&w) based on Walter Lord's excellent book but kids today don't appreciate it.
I'll be picketing the day someone has the audacity to re-make "Casablanca"!!!
