In Short: McDonald's FAIL

I stopped into McDonald's tonight. While in the drive-thru pay window, I noticed a sign posted inside:
Due to slow sales, hours have been cut for all employees. When sales increase, you will be given your hours back.

And when I was driving away, I noticed a sign posted in the front window:

HELP WANTED

FAIL

Due to the recent SCOTUS decision that allows unlimited contributions to campaigns, expect Micky Dee's to have it's own branch of government, right next to the WalMart wing of congress.

Employees, good luck.
Your vote and voice mean nothing.

Dammit, I want in on corporate sponsorship. If only I wielded some kind of power.

The answer probably is somewhere in the idea that there is a difference between and employee and a competent employee. Always interviewing, looking for that rare teenager that would choose their hours over licking random windows. Or something.

kansas - That's EXXON-SCOTUS to you. The neon goes up next week.

Randal, Hill - Me too. "Trojan presents" would just pop over my blog header.

Lemmy - Good point. Especially at this McD's. They're in cahoots with the Arby's across the way for consistently bad service. They're just so close to home...
