Republicans are full of fuckery. They took a normal, expected, non-fanfare issue - raising the debt ceiling - and owned it and lied to America and whined and pissed and moaned and lied and got many ignorant Americans to back them.
So what if America is being downgraded and there are STILL no jobs? Let's do a sing-along!

I agree!!! I would love to track down every idiot who voted for these bozos and, in the words of the denizens of the 'hood where I used to work and pimp slap 'em!!!!!!
not sure why you are so upset--tea party people are just trying to reel in the spending and taxes....shame you cannot talk about this without resorting to name calling. It is not about republican or democrat anymore...they both are running scared..it is about what is right.
Kay- woohoo!
Anon- I don't believe I mentioned the Tea Party, but I do feel bad for your naive misunderstanding of politics today.
Republicans are tolerating and using the TP to deflect attention with misdirected rage. Meanwhile, the Republicans at the state and national levels are doing everything they can to curtail the number of liberal voters next Nov by lying, stealing, and disenfranchising hard-working Americans.
It's not about what's right (well, not in your sense), it's about money. It's always been about money - and power.
Anonymous comments can suck it. Own up to your opinion, whydoncha?
well it may be naive but I am not alone, and again why resort to name calling and anger....as far as money and power well that is what America is all about, power and money, it buys your freedom and freedom to have a different opinion, it is not the same in say China. Both parties are feeling the heat and it will continue.
thank you, Dan Murray
Dan-
Little misguided, but okay. I'm not entirely against the reasonable stated ideals of the tea party. But that's not what the party really is. It just hijacked the Republican party into playing politics with what's a no-brainer debt raise to the effect of downgrading the nation's credit. We don't live in a vacuum, and I've never seen such myopic force.
